Give a Kid a Chance
Give a Kid a Chance is a ministry that we actively participate in. It is a city wide outreach that ministers to low income families and children in need when it comes time for school to start. It is a ministry that provides each child with the grade and age appropriate clothing and backpack for the start of school. We help with everything from raising funds, registering kids, buying clothes, stuffing backpacks and volunteering on the day of the event. The event is held once a year, the week before school starts. Families are able to come and pick up all they need for their children to start school, as well as get a hair cut, get their teeth checked, have an eye exam, a small physical done and the entire family is fed lunch.

At the age of twenty-two, Donna found herself in a place that is familiar to some and completely foreign to others. She was homeless with two precious little boys, a three year old and a six month old, and a husband headed for prison. At the time she had no idea what a relationship with the Lord was, and no desire to have what she considered a Christian life. Yet in the six years her husband spent in prison, they got divorced, and the Lord had started to draw her to Himself. After she surrendered her life to the Lord, He began to open many doors for her to minister to women and single moms.  After twenty years of owning her own maid service, the Lord spoke to her to shut it down in 1999. In 2002 she came to Faith Church and found herself linking arms with the vision. From April 2003 she served faithfully in the church and came on staff in January of 2006.

Faith Church is happy to support many local, regional, national and international missions programs in over 30 countries. In addtion we have many groups from our church that travel worldwide to spread the gospel.
