Faith Kids is a ministry dedicated to children, by providing a safe environment for interaction, a place to build new friendships, and learn practical applications of God's word. They are given the tools to be victorious in and to overcome the challenges they face today.

About Faith Kids

Faith Kids ministers to children in grades 1st  - 5th  during our Sunday Morning 10:30 Worship Service. Kids connect with Christ and each other through various ways of interaction and learning. 

FAITH KIDS opens up with games, inflatables, Wii's and 'POP SHOP' (refreshment bar) time. At 10:40, we begin Praise and Worship and practical living applications using God's Word as our guide. We engage in fun, hands on learning experiences. Every teaching tool is kid friendly and sought to be life impacting.
FAITH KIDS are also aware and involved with Home and World missions (other kids, just like us, that need Jesus as their Savior). Some will choose to join special presentations of singing, sign language, dancing, bell playing, etc. Our annual ARMY OF ONE discipleship class is suited to our 5th graders getting ready to move on to the next level.

Additional Information

Family Bible Hour  is the time we give to small groups. The kids learn Biblical foundational truths in a group suited to their needs and all our classes are 'age & gender' friendly. During this activity time lasting friendships are made while growing in the Lord.  Every teacher is greatly committed to this time as they love the kids who are placed in their care.

 

  Missionettes & Royal Rangers:  Are offered on Wednesday nights during the school year.

 

Annually, you won't want to miss our 4th - 6th graders' SUMMER KIDS CAMP (June),  WOW WEDNESDAYS (July), our October 31st 'LIGHT NITE' Celebration - and that is not all!!!

Ministers Profile
Lynn Pate

Being reached for Christ at the age of six, Lynn knows the importance of a child's consistent spiritual enrichment. Being a music teacher, musical production director, choir director, worship leader, wife and mother, taught her the importance of commitment and tenacity. Lynn says listening and heeding God's call to Children's Ministry, pulled all her prior experience together, as only He could do. She thinks of herself as an 'activator of the body', one who utilizes many people's gifts to 'plant, water and to realize the increase' of young Kingdom Giants, full of His purpose. Her personal ministry is driven with the truth, that it is easier to build children than to repair adults. Her joy is in seeing boys and girls won to Christ, then discipled to the place that their walk with the Lord is 'contagious!'
Lynn and her very supportive husband, Wes, have two grown sons, Jeremy and Scott who both actively serve the Lord.  Scott is married to Holley and they have given Lynn and Wes 2 beautiful grandchildren.
