Retail Sales Manager (Lawrenceburg)
Grow and train a team to serve with excellence and produce a product that is an attractive part of our Faith Church hospitality.
Reports To:
Central Retail Sales Director
Do whatever it takes to make Faith’s retail sales succeed! This includes the following:
Maintenance
Be sure all aspects of both the Faith Cafe and merchandise areas are maintained at a continued level of
excellence, including equipment maintenance, cleanliness, inventory, customer service, menu items,
presentation etc.
Recruitment
Align with the Connect Team to find a strong, faithful, team of volunteers to assist our retail sales teams.
Scheduling
Use Faith Church systems to schedule volunteers for all retail sales operation times.
Management
Work with the Retail Sales Director to manage and track café and merchandise budgets and maintain proper
records for all aspects of our retail sales operations, including volunteers, inventory, accounting of costs &
profit margins, etc.
Mentorship
Intentionally and actively help mentor all retail sales volunteers by being an:
EXAMPLE (n 1: something forming a model be followed)
Model a friendly attitude
Maintain a vibrant walk with Jesus Christ
Attend training opportunities and develop ministry gifts
Maintain a teachable spirit and implement the training you receive
ENCOURAGER (n 1: one who inspires with courage and hope)
Regularly contact volunteers to build relationships
Pray for and with each volunteer on a regular basis
Support them through personal difficulty
EXHORTER (n: one who urges, warns, and advises earnestly)
Uphold the values and vision of Faith Church
Assist in providing correction gently when detrimental thinking or behavior is observed in the retail sales
volunteer team
EQUIPPER (n: one who supplies with needed resources)
Provide retail sales volunteers with the skills and knowledge needed to do their ministry well.
Provide retail sales volunteers with the materials & training necessary to perform their ministry effectively.
